Omnitracs University

Omnitracs University is an online training resource available to every IVG and XRS customer. It is a great tool to help you get the most out of your Omnitracs investment.

Every customer gets access to the online training webinars. The webinars are offered on a rotating basis each week, allowing you for sessions that fit your schedule.

Q: Where is Omnitracs University?

Q: What’s the process for getting Omnitracs University accounts set up?

A: Your company is set up in Omnitracs University within two business days of when your contract is completed. At that time, user accounts are also created in Omnitracs University for each person with an email address recorded as a Contact for your company.

Q: How do users get login credentials?

A: Your credentials are created based on your email address. When your account is added, you are sent an email notification from “Learning System Administrator” that contains your Omnitracs University username (your email address) and a link to activate your account and set your password. Check your Junk folder if you don’t find it in your Inbox.

Note that the account activation link is only valid for 14 days. If you don’t activate your account within that time, you will need to contact Omnitracs University to reset your password, which sends a new activation link.

Q: How do new employees get user accounts?

A: New employees can request a user account using the “Request a new account” link. Online requests are processed within two business days.

Q: What do I do after I get logged in?

A: When you log in, go to the “My Learning” page of the Learning and Metrics tab in Omnitracs University. All of your webinars are listed in the “Upcoming Webinars” list, showing the date and time that the webinar is scheduled. Scheduled times are Central Time.

Q: How do I register for a class?

A: Simply click the class title in the “Upcoming Webinars” list and then click the Enroll in this Class button. The class is added to your “My Scheduled Webinars” list and you are sent an email notification from “Learning Management System” with instructions for joining the webinar.

Q: How do I join a webinar session?

A: 5-10 minutes before the class is scheduled to begin, use the link in the email notification to join the session. If you can’t find the email, you can also join by clicking the class in the “My Scheduled Webinars” list. Make sure your popup blockers are turned off for the Omnitracs University website.

Q: How do I get help?

A: The fastest way to get help with problems or questions about Omnitracs University is to send an email to Omnitracs.University@omnitracs.com. For your convenience, there’s an email link on the login page.
